I guess the heading speaks and symbolizes itself. lets start with what is "Fool's Paradise", so basically it means 'Delusional Happiness', one simply ignores or chooses to not look at the trouble or problems and tries to enjoy the state of happiness(delusional). It is a problem of gross concern because it turns away from all the problem rather than fighting them.
We often come around people who despite of being in deep trouble will remain happy ignoring the problem as if it never existed. now many will call it being optimist or not falling to the difficulties but they will be wrong because an optimistic person will always fight his way out of problem bravely but those living in "Fool's Paradise" do not even react to difficulties and act as if they are in best of their time. Being in such state is a symbol of cowardliness and stupidity.
There's a thin line of wisdom between bravery and stupidity
In today's world that line of wisdom has been blatantly crossed and people are happy about it, they roam shamelessly with all their problems which are hidden beneath their wide fake smile of happiness. We have refused to accept the reality because it is bitter and harsh. As great philosopher Plato once talked about humans living in two worlds- one which is the reality which we do not like and refuse to be its part and another is where there is all happiness and all pleasures but only thing which it lacks is truthfulness of reality. We have made ourselves so comfortable in delusional happiness that we are on the verge of detaching ourselves from the real world and this is disastrous for human society.
Our society has evolved in terms of technology, education, economy but we are lacking infect degrading our basic human tendencies. We were not supposed to take cover of delusions in the times of difficulties rather fight them. We have to understand nothing can end the misery or problems or difficulties until you decide to end it with a fight.
Fool's Paradise can give you a temporary shelter from all your problems but one day it is going to break and you will be exposed to all what you have been hiding from and might be that it will be too late to fight it and had been better if you faced it earlier and resolved.
So lets not fell prey to the trap of fool's paradise and break the glass of delusional happiness and fight out hard our problems and create a real paradise.
Reality might be disturbing but its because of us and we cannot escape it, so fight it and make lives simpler.
